Excitement With The Arrival of The New Chromebooks For Yr 5 Students

There was much excitement in Ruma Rima on Thursday when students got their new Chromebooks. We can't wait for the digital learning to begin.

The Paper Challenge and The Plastic Cup Challenge

Working on as a team is a great way to get to know your classmates. There was lots of learning going on in Ruma Rima in our first week back at school for 2020. The children had to try to make the longest strip of paper by only using one A4 piece of paper and a pair of scissors. No tape allowed! It was a very close challenge.

Our next team challenge was to make a ten cup stack without touching the cups with your hands. Each team go some string, an elastic band, a cotton bud and ten cups. There was a lot of discussion and team work needed to complete this challenge!
