Kia ora and thank you for visiting our class blog. We are a class of Year 5/6 students at Karoro School in Greymouth, New Zealand. Our teacher is Mrs Barrow.
Sam, i really enjoyed doing the ANZAC activities with you! My favourite was the poppies. My Mum (Grandma) is going to wear her poppy you made her on ANZAC day. After lock down finishes and when she is able, she's going to take her poppy up to Reefton to her Dads grave. He was a medic and was away at war for 5 years. He would absolutely LOVE your ANZAC cookies.
Wow Sam! It was very special of you to make those gifts, the cookies look delicious and I’m sure they will go down a treat! The poppies are beautiful and I know Grandma will wear hers with pride, even more so because it was made by you in honour of your great grandddad. Thank you for sharing this Sam.
Kia ora Sam, It was a very different ANZAC day this year. We usually attend one of the services near our house. This year we listened on the radio. I did like going for a walk and seeing all the poppies people had made and shared in their windows and at their gates. I also made Feijoa ANZAC Crumble for pudding.
Grandma Ret Grandad and I really enjoyed your ANZAC biscuits, they were so crunchy. I loved having the quizzes on the Houseparty app. You are doing such lovely work Sam. Enjoying your stories.
Kia Ora Sam, I love ANZAC biscuits. Your ones look very delicious. The poppies you made are very cool. Sending care packages to your grandparents is very thoughtful. The poppies are very bright and colourful.
Kia ora room 3, My name is Isabella and I go to Awapuni School in Gisborne. You are really good at making the homemade poppies. This reminded me when it was Anzac Day. Next time I think maybe you could write the recipe on the slide instead of a link because I couldn't go into the link and see what the recipe was. By Isabella.
Kia ora, ko Misty taku ingoa. I really liked how you have put in some pictures so then others can see what they look like. Maybe you could have made this post in a slide so then others could of seen what the recipe is. Have you Made sure you have capital letters in the right place.
Kia ora, ko Zara taku ingoa, No te kura o Awapuni ahau. I really like how you have linked and how you have made the poppies. You might want to put some full stops in your GREEN box. Keep carrying on with the amazing work.
