Kia ora and thank you for visiting our class blog. We are a class of Year 5/6 students at Karoro School in Greymouth, New Zealand. Our teacher is Mrs Barrow.
In Ruma Rima we have been making sock puppets. We created our own puppet so that we can write a play for our puppets to perform in. Here are our puppet creations.
Kia ora, Milla here from Gilberthorpe School. I like the way you have created and made cool things to add on your puppet's. Maybe you could share a video of you guys performing it. from Milla
Hi it's Azire and Olivia here and we are from Gilberthorpe school Ara Tuwhakata and we like the way that you created and made sock puppets. Did you think about adding more writing off how you did it why you did it. you brought me back to when at my old school when we did it. other then that i really like it
Hi Azire and OLivia, The reason why we made sock puppets is because we are going to make a puppet show. It's really cool that your old school made sock puppets too! Thank you for commenting on our blog.`

Kia ora Ruma Rima, I can't wait to see your sock puppet performance - you have created some great looking characters. Where did all of the socks come from? I would certainly have plenty of socks with no partner to donate! I remember my son having a school social where they all had to wear decorated socks - it was lots of fun. Remember to record some of your puppet shows to share on your blog. Ngā mihi Tania
Thank you Tania for commenting on Ruma Rima's blog. We have not made any puppet shows yet but if we do I think we will be able to put the videos on our blog. We got the socks from our own selves.😃
