Cartoon Me Ruma Rima

We have been learning how to create a safe picture of ourselves to put on the internet. Here are some of our fabulous pictures. Thank you to Mrs Minehan for showing us how to use the polyline tool for this activity.

We have been learning to make our self portrait.

(1) take a picture of your self.
(2) put it in a google drawing.
(3) use the polyline tool and draw around your face.
(4) make your drawing of your face fade away.
(5) draw the rest of your body.
(6) use the scribble tool to draw your nose.
(7) if you want to, add in some circles for the eyes.
(8) delete your picture
(9) add in a colourful background

Do you want to have a go?
Well then go to google drive!!!
Hope you liked the activity.
Hi my name is Casey
We are learning to make Cartoon me
Step 1. Take a picture of you in a google drawing .
Step 2.  Polyline to trace around the outside of  picture you put in.
Step 3. Colour in your face with a colour  of your choice and go into  custom, there will be to strips, one will make the colour of  your face darker and the other one will make it look transparent.  I then copied over the eyes and the mouth, then do a line on your nose.
Step 4. Go into tools and go into explore and find a background that you like and cover the whole page with it.
Step 5. Go into arrange go to order  push setbackwoods in toll all of it cames through. Done!
Kia Ora my name is Molly.  We have been learning to be cybersmart and create our own images using Google Drawing. We really enjoyed doing it . First you create a google drawing then you go into insert and click image and go to camera and take a photo of your self . Insert the photo into the google drawing. I went into the polyline tool and started drawing around my face. Once my face was drawn ,I deleted my photo. I added a cool background picture. This was so much fun, you should try and make one, I would love to see it on your blog.

Kia ora my name is Karmi .We have been learning to create  our own images using Google drawing.
I took a  selfie of  myself and I learnt to use the polyline tool, which is found in the lines tab.
This tool is used to colour the picture in. I enjoyed using this tool and I found  the tool easy to use.
I deleted my photo and added a colourful background. You should have a go, and put it on your blog, I  would love to see it.

Cameron here from Karoro school.
As part of being CyberSmart, we learnt to make self portraits on Google drawing.
(1)We took a picture of ourselves.
(2)  We used the polyline tool to go around the parts of our body.
(3) When finished we deleted our picture of ourselvers so were left with a cartoon looking you.
(4) I used scribble to do my nose.
(5) Then we added a colourful background.
I found it easy in some parts but in others it was hard especially doing my ears.
Do you want to make one? It is a challenging lot of fun!
