Kia ora and thank you for visiting our class blog. We are a class of Year 5/6 students at Karoro School in Greymouth, New Zealand. Our teacher is Mrs Barrow.
I can see that you have learnt a lot about responding to emergencies, Ruma Whitu. You did very well practising the bandaging. Our school will be safer for everyone now.
Kia ora, Milla here from Gilberthorpe School. I love the idea of learning how to respond in medical emergency. You should always be ready! Maybe next time you could do a video of how to do that. From -Milla
Hi it is Cayleigh from Gilberthorpe school. Enjoy the part that you bandage up each other. did you think about it befor you did it or did you just do it? why did you do this for? did you do it at your school?
Hi there Cayleigh, I personally didn't think about it I just went straight in. We did it for if there is an emergency with no adults around. And yes we did do it at our school. Thank you for commenting on our blog

Tēnā koutou Ruma Rima, Great to see you are set to go in an emergency. On the weekend my friend had a lady full off her bike right in front of her. The lady broke both her leg and ankle and my friend had to help make a splint for her out of sticks and shoelaces! The rescue helicopter had to come and get her as they were on a bike track in the middle of nowhere. So, you never know when your skills will come in handy. Lucky that St Johns were able to prepare you to respond in a medical emergency. Do you would be able to help in an emergency now? Can you remember the first thing to do? Ngā mihi Tania
