Kia ora and thank you for visiting our class blog. We are a class of Year 5/6 students at Karoro School in Greymouth, New Zealand. Our teacher is Mrs Barrow.
We have been showing our understanding of the book Wonder written by R J Palacio. We have been doing this through Chapter Chat and Tweeting our work. Here are some of our reading responses so far.

Hi I am caedance from a school called paparore you guys have been doing an interesting reading response I enjoyed your slides about plague I didn't know anything about it until I read about it. when did you start learning about plague in England I like how you set up your slides with your facts.
Hi Caedance, I'm Harper thank you for commenting on my plague slide. Me and my friend Mahia did them. It was so fun working on them and finding out the facts. We did it for Chapter Chat. Me and Mahia were the only people to do plague research for Chapter Chat. I love learning about history and stuff like that so I was happy to do this. I have made another cool slide about the gods and goddess's of Egypt. I will post it as soon as I finish it.

what a interesting slide i really like the way you set up this slide it was a brilliant slide but you need to kind of read your sentences but author then that it was very good i cant wait to here from you again see ya
Hi Atawhai,Lucy here, I REALLY like your wonder face it is so awesome! I really liked how you sorted out the words so they were flat and away from his face. Just wondering if you could teach me to do what you did like taking the picture and that sort of stuff. Bye!!!
WOW! I am so BLOWN AWAY by all of your hard effort and work. I really enjoyed...THE WHOLE THING! I hope I NEVER get plague considering I have rats and mice in my roof at home! BLECH! It sounds SO disgusting! I hope that you all do more stuff like this. To me, It is sooooo interesting! I love learning!
